[clue-tech] VMServer 1.0 Host/Guest Internet problems

Russell,

Yes, VMTools is installed and running each time the XP vm is powered up.
No firewall is in place, and the IP address is pulled from...I'm not
entirely sure where the host IP comes from. I'm new to this vmware/linux
stuff, so I'm learning as I go. However, the ip returned with ifconfig
for the eth0 card is an 'internal' IP assigned off of our Cisco router.

I've tried different configurations of the vm settings for the ethernet
card, and each time I do, the status shows as "Connected" when I power
up the VM. I have two CentOS vm's configured with bridging and they
connect just fine.
