On something like this, it might be a good idea to put where you found 
to change the resolution.  I am also using Suse, I didn't run into that 
problem but its a good reference for the future.  In your email you just 
said you found it, but didn't explain where.  For someone else have the 
same problems, doesn't provide much help and the question would just get 
asked again.
