I expect any email software not to make a decision for me [i.e., file my 
list message without my control] that is contrary to every other email 
client I have used for the past 15 years.  But, hey - just my personal 
preference apparently.

I agree that gmail is better than any of the other services I have used 
and do not pay money to use.
