Well, not in my case. Not that it's particularly germaine, but if I do a
traceroute -I (forcing ICMP ECHO), I still get bupkus.

Or, it was so well written, that it appeared totally legit? Sadly, many of
us are already preconditioned to believe any idiotic behavior on the part
of Microsoft, or other big dumb corporations. Well, maybe that's a little
bit justified.
