[clue-tech] Call for presentation - wireless

We've had a fruitful series of posts on the topic of the Linsys wrt54g
routers and related wireless topics. As someone else said, this would
make an excellent topic for a CLUE meeting.

OK, all you Linux wireless heavies out there, now is the time for one
of you to step up to the plate and put together a CLUE presentation on
the topic of wireless usage for Linux. You know the rules:

1. You don't need to be a seasoned lecturer or writer, just gather
some basic information to share and load it on a simple OO
presentation.
2. None of us (at least those who turn up for meetings!) are that
aggressive, so you have a safe environment for your presentation.
3. You don't need to know all the answers. There will be questions to
which you don't know the answers, but that's merely an opportunity to
learn more.
4. If you have some of the answers but are uncomfortable with putting
it all together, team up with a buddy who can help with the
presentation.

I, for one, am quite CLUEless when it comes to wireless, and I would
like to learn more. Some suggestions: routers that work well with
Linux, security methods, alternative firmware packges, distro tips,
etc., etc.

In conclusion, there may be other topics that you would like to see at
CLUE. We don't really have a presentation coordinator at present, so
it's pretty much up to the worker bees and enthusiasts to come up with
some ideas.
