I hadn't heard of uswsusp, but I found this when I did a quick check. http://wiki.neoturbine.net/index.php/Uswsusp_sidux I should probably play with suspend/hibernate on my laptop. Maybe the kernel modules and Gnome's power management package is sufficient for me.
