[clue-tech] old laptop help

Hey folks,

     Does anyone have experience with low footprint distros? I was planning on bringing my old laptop to the next CLUE meeting, and asking for someone to help me figure out how to use programs like the CD ripper, the NIC, eterm, etc. I have Puppy Linux on disc, that I can bring along and I have Xubuntu on another laptop hard drive. Please, let me know if you have this expertise and are willing to give me some of your time. I would appreciate it!
