Two points.

1. If you're using the standard Mandriva methods, dependancies should
be automatically resolved. How are you trying to do this? Are you
using rpms outside of the Mandriva repositories?

2. Even if you resolve the dependancies, you'll be a lot better off
with OpenOffice.
