[clue-tech] Need to prohibit a display resolution

My computer keeps going into 640x400 and telling the program that it's entered 640x480.
 How can I prohibit this display resolution?  In the old days, I would've edited my
xorg.conf, deleted a modeline or removed an item from modes or something, but this isn't
the old days...  Grr...  I have to play Freespace, but I can't see the bottom of the screen.
