[clue-tech] Japanese input on Linux

Well this is a follow-up to my question about SCIM.  I got it 
working--mostly.  So I thought I might ask to see if anyone has it 
working with Thunderbird.  Thunderbird seems to be the only application 
I can't seem to get SCIM input for.  Every other application gives me a 
dialog to choose an input method when I right-click, even Firefox.  I 
tried adding some stuff I found online to the Thunderbird execution 
script, but it didn't help.
