In Gentoo, all of the KDE 3.5 bin files are in /usr/kde/3.5/bin, it's libs are 
in /usr/kde/3.5/lib, etc.  According to the FHS, there should not be 
a /usr/kde directory at all, and KDE's bin files should be in /usr/bin while 
the lib files should be in /usr/lib.
