For those that give Impress (OpenOffice's powerpoint) presentations at
meetings, there is a mode that lets you display the presentation on the
external monitor and your notes for each slide on the laptop.  Of
course, the only time I've actually used this the monitors didn't behave
and I had to punt back to showing the slide on both.  Argghh.  It worked
fine at home, at least.
