USB 2.0 is a lot faster, could be the hub is not supporting it? Also, I 
keep forgetting and trying to copy from one USB device to another using 
different ports on my laptop which share a data path internally. It 
takes forever, too.

I got to drop by today for a little while just to meet and observe and I 
think in the future when I am trying something new and adventurous I 
will bring it there, although all-night coffee-fueled solo sessions 
googling for each obscure error message can be fun...

Re: another thread, I had an Ubuntu laptop, standard wifi manager 
whatever it is, I had no problem with the WiFi there. I and at least one 
other didn't try WEP 'hex' at first, though, might be the source of some 
failures.
