[clue-tech] How to boot up Kubuntu and start a network connection...

Okay, I've been fiddling with my laptop and trying to get pam_mount to mount a samba network drive. I finally figured out it is my laptop, which will not create a wireless connection until I login to KDE as myself. I setup my network connection via KNetworkManager. KNetworkManager does not start until after pam_mount does it's thing, so I always end up manually mounting.
Can someone point me to a recipe for starting a wireless network connection for my home network when booting up? I would like the network connection up an running when before I login to KDE.
Thanks you.
Adrian
