Seems lots of folks like the old IBM model M. But to find one, or it's
equivalent, will set you back a few bucks.

Since it isn't possible for me to go back in time and lay in a stockpile
of the Northgate OmniKey+, I've gotten to the point where I treat
keyboards as disposable items. That said, I typically have good luck with
Logitech, and I'm a touch typist.
