Probably 1024 bytes.  But important ones, huh?  Though not anything that would prevent recovering 
your /home.

If you have a similar issue in the next few months, even if seatools performs a similar fix, I'd RMA 
it.  I had that happen once (not with bad sectors though) and even though the tool fixed the error, 
the second time back it went.
