[clue-tech] Satellite RF or decoded TV signal redistribution in a MURB

I am confused about what you are asking for.
#1 Although aesthetics prevent the installation of satellite dishes, what about dishes disguised as something else ?
Perhaps foam statues of Zeus. Perhaps this would reduce the distance you have to send cabled signals ?
#2 Have you asked a satellite TV service if they have a solution for this ?
#3 You seem to be saying you can't install cabling and that the existing cabling is spoken for. Maybe I misunderstood this. You seem to be left with wireless as a possibility.
#4 How many installations does 20% of the residents represent ?
#5 Do the residents have high speed internet ? Streaming television shows seems to be easier to do all the time.

If you explain more about your desires and constraints , maybe I can help.

Maybe 10-20% of residents want some sort of satellite TV. There are acres of rooftop on which satellite dishes could be placed, but the individual residents don't have rooftop access, nor can they run wires from the roof into their suites.

To me this seems to mean we would need to distribute a variety of RF signals (depending on the satellite) somehow. Is there some other way to do it? I think we could not descramble all of the signals and put them on slingbox-type devices for everyone to use for free, because that probably violates the terms of use of any of the satellite TV service.
