As an alternative you can run surf (http://surf.suckless.org/). This is
a very lightweight browser based on the WebKit library that can run the
Adobe flash plugin.
By lightweight I mean it's just a wrapper of code around WebKit. You
can run it without menus and (I believe) full screen. Far superior to
Firefox for applications like kiosks just due to its simplicity.
I"m using surf in my BeagleBox project which will be a BeagleBoard based
set top box for internet video viewing. Haven't used it that much but I
investigated the code enough to know its the solution I need.
