[clue-tech] Application support / further development

At the risk of offending the purists who would say we should now move
this discussion to clue-talk, I concur with David's opinion on this. The
CLUE lists are a minimal source of traffic now anyway, and most of it is
probably of interest. (Perhaps they used to be a lot busier?)
