Folks:

To answer Michael's, Chris Fedde's, and Chris Hirsch's post/concerns ("tags" and "one vs. multiple lists"):
There is a quantifier or "tag" here in the subject line (e.g., "For Sale"). I believe for most that is sufficient enough to decide "to read" or "not to read and delete", granted I am making a bit of an assumption here as well. Since the lists are combined now (note: I voted to keep the separate lists with an option to have the Forums (to be implemented later) linked into such if possible), so that is out of my hands IMHO if folks think this is advertising on the list a little excessive. I personally wanted to separate out the items to some degree for more exposure, yes. But in the end, if it is not of interest, just delete the email.

To answer Randy's post:
For the question of "what is up with the sale of old computer parts", Linux ETC is doing some "spring cleaning". I figured with the economy being "crappy" that some of these items might be of interest and/or use for others on the list. Otherwise, they go into the "recycling" pile (reference https://www.linux-etc.com/eco ) eventually. Linux ETC is along the lines of being "eco friendly", thus re-use and recycle. Some of our clients have a few items that I though might also be of interest to others as well (e.g., MSI Mega 865 box).

I concur with Chris Tubutis' in that I believe I posted a few (~8 or so) on Weds, 01 June and just now 2 more. The difference is finding (yet another) box of items that have not been inventoried such as the LSI RAID cards and this "still shrink wrapped" Linksys USB hub. If that is excessive...switch to Digest format within Mailman perhaps is my suggestion. I did eons ago (2003'ish), hence why it took me a while to (1) know about the concerns raised on my postings, and (2) respond appropriately. Additional ideas are email filter rules which I believe most commonly used email systems and third party clients have, so just RTFM appropriately.

FWIW and do keep in mind I receive this list in Digest format so pardon any delays in responding due to such (and I try not to keep myself attached to "email leashes" too ;-) ).
