What I feel it is important to remember that Microsoft meets the needs of many people today, and further it has been the driving force ( perhaps due to dislike or even hatred ) in the Open Source community as well. Microsoft got to where they are for a reason,
anti-competitive practices buying or stealing others ideas (software and 
cobbling them in to their system) No respect here!
Although I have to support this these machines with MS on them does not 
mean I respect the company.
