[clue] Python class, one week reminder

For those coming to the Python class next weekend, some prep notes from the teacher, Joe Leonardo:

"Here is the link that I will be teaching from:

http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/

Totally free and available to all.

Students will need

- Python 2.7.2 from www.python.org (It is imperative that students DO NOT get their Python install from ActiveState, as ActiveState limits packages that you can obtain with their community distribution, and I wanted to cover package installation and dive into some globally useful packages (like flat file parsers and whatnot)

- Apatana Studio 3 from www.aptana.org

o OR

- Eclipse with PyDev Module from www.eclipse.org / www.pydev.org

My intention is to poll the class and find out what people intend on / would like to use python for, and then extend the instruction with that information. I’m gearing my lesson plan to complete and utter beginners. If people are not familiar with OOP, then the class may get a bit painful, but I intend on covering procedural scripting as well as OOP with Python."
