Traditional automount for diskfull systems expects your to export
/home/your_name from your workstation and makes it available wherever
you go. In the diskless environment your home is on some server some
where. Maybe with synchronization so that if server A is down server
B will have a copy. The maps for that environment deal with mounting
the "best" home available. Then there are the hybrid environments
that involve both diskfull and diskless nodes.
