No.  And I think there's no reason to run 10.04 anymore either.

When they make me do this at work it seems that Windows knows what to do with a .iso.  It hasn't 
always worked but it did think it was writing the whole file.  The writer does have to know it's an 
image but I can't help you beyond that with Windows software.

If you can boot off a USB device you can put the .iso there instead of a CD.  If you use 12.04.  And 
if you can figure out how to image the device rather than copying to it.
