I'm finding myself trying to guess which description belongs to which company.
The "experience/background in telecommunications" phrase doessn't matter, as
both companies are "telecommunications".

The phrase "people who are PASSIONATE about Linux" seems really odd to me in
the Centurylink/Comcast context, as Comcast has the reputation of being an
all-Windows shop. I'm sure Centurylink has some RH, and some Solaris, but
CentOS seems like an odd choice for any corporate environment, where they view
"IT" as a non-core function. Also weird: "hungry/aggressive in their careers".
That's an odd one for any corporation to ask for in a system admin. Nobody
with an eye for a C- or even Director-level position will start as a linux
system admin. If you're going for real management, not just managing other
nerds, you're going to be in sales, or finance, or just maybe legal.

All in all, a very interesting puzzle. I'm going to guess Job (A) is
with Centurylink, Job (B) is with Comcast, but as I outlined above, I
have no good reasons for believing that. Both job descriptions just don't
match what I know about those two Giant MegaCorps.
