Yep, that's the same Shuttle.

True, but the average Joe doesn't tend to keep changing or adding
hardware to his box.

I like the small size of the Shuttle, but the only hardware options are
the hard drive, CD-ROM drive, floppy drive or SD-chip reader, memory,
CPU, AGP video card and one PCI slot. Since most of these are required
for a usable system, the only option that might be unused is the PCI
slot. However, for many people, this is perfectly adequate. Laptops
don't have much expandability either.

I like Monarch's Hornet case more because it has 3 PCI slots. The
motherboard size is not specific to the case either, like the Shuttle's
is. It's a bit larger. An additional cooling fan might be a good idea
tho. The power supply is supposed to provide enough power for
everything that might be added. And the AGP slot can handle any video
card. The Shuttle for the AMD64 can't handle some AGP cards unless you
remove the case or modify the case.

Clifford's email about the MSI home theater PCs is interesting. I don't
know if Linux can work with everything in one of these, but I like the
fact that it provides a familiar stereo control layout. I don't know
about the video and audio. And what does one cost? Has anyone in the
Linux group bought one?
