I guess I have to throw in here...  I have a DELL Inspiron 8100.  So does my
bro-in-law.  So does a mutual friend.  We are ecstatic with them.  The retail is
around $1800, but you can get 'em on eBay for less than $1000.  Sells with
geforce2go or Radeon (something) mobility.  This laptop has been my faithful and
competent servant for 10 months and nearly zero problems.
