Okay- have to add my $.18

First, I echo most of what has already been said...

- If Patty ((whom I like and respect) is fronting this It gets a couple
extra points for repoectability: I'd like to think it suggest that she
(and Dale) have already explained the difference between the C and the H.
- Wehner's a business writer, and the articles I've seen are serious, if
not too deep. he might be okay doing this.
-AND YET, that having been said, this still smells to me like copy-cat
sensationalism. It seems likely to me that an editor or something said
'hey, russ, you wrote a couple pieces on the IT industry, why dont you go
find one of those 'hackers' we keep hearing about everywhere else and sell
some more papers for us...
- and to amplify some previous comments...why 'linux' ? why not Slackware,
or BSD or Debian or GNU ??? why bother to be that specific, and possibly
misleading and incorrect?

anyway...
