They've done both 32 and 64-bit since at least 2007. 

I didn't Plan 9 was still alive.

Didn't Arch just go all x86_64 (64-bit)? I was just about to install Arch 
on a Pentium box, when I read that somewhere. I'm not against 64-bit machines 
or OSes, I just don't have an Opteron lying around. 

I'm thinking of trying "Plan 9" again soon. Anybody tried it in a while?
