[CLUE-Tech] [OT] Postgres on Windows

Matt,
Last time I looked (almost 2 years ago), PG did not even run on Windoze. I
needed a database with good referential features, so I could not use MySQL.
I ended up using Borland's Interbase (6.0.1) -- this version was
"open-sourced". Now, later versions of Interbase have been "un
open-sourced", so my feelings about Borland have changed.
However, it is a kick-ass database that runs great on UNIX and Windoze.
Small footprint, lots of features you need for a relational implementation.
Since they open sourced it, some ex-Borland developers created Firebird,
which 1.0 was recently released. Firebird is the open-source fork of
Interbase, based on the 6.0.1 release.
My point --> check out Firebird. It runs on Windoze.
