Easier said than done.  I bank online with pscu.org  Their vendor's 
online banking site gives browser compatibility info for Windoze and 
Mac.  NS4.7 works just fine on their site using linux.  I turned in a 
couple of trouble tickets asking what problems I should expect or 
parts of the site I should avoid since I was using linux/NS4.7 and 
their site didnt list it as a safe combo.

I got a nice note back from their CIO saying that he used linux at 
home and experienced no problems, and offered to work through any 
problems with me.  My response was that I hadnt seen any problems. My 
only worry was that their site didnt list linux/ns4.7 as a supported  
combo and I was worried about hidden damage.  A year later, their 
site still claims not to support linux based browsers.
