Er, no, since it's an external router. If it's internal, then yes, there
are things you need to worry about. However, since I'm pretty sure it's an
external router...
The cisco router only really cares about packets. It doesn't mind if they
come from windows, linux, a toaster, etc. As long as your router is
configured correctly, you should be able to slip the new box in behind it.
Any properly configured router only really requires a correct network
connection behind it.
My suggestion: Configure (if you have not already done so) acess lists to
stop certain packets from getting through in th efirst place: netbios,
echo, etc. I'm not sure if they stop them by default.
