Yes the Cisco 678 uses Cisco's command line interface. So, if you know
the DSL router's default internal IP address and it's login name and
password you can telnet in and your in business as far configuring goes.
No special software is required. Telnet doesn't care what OS you use. In
fact, when I configure one once all I did is download the direction from
Qwest and type them in at a command prompt. I'm sure other DSL providers
can offer the same info.
