Thanks for the money saving tips.
I've spent all I intend to right now on a good 3rd computer for training
myself on networking issues (out of work since end of July). I have an
excellent Viewsonic 19" monitor on my other system. The system I'm working
from now has the old 15". As soon as I get my round-tuits in order, I'm
going to switch the two, since the new system is a little faster (2.4Gz) and
I will be using it most of the time. Also need to install a spare DVD reader
I have lying around (system has only a cdrw at present).
