If you pay for your own power you may be penny-wise and pound foolish.  LCD's
use pennies of electricity per month vs. the dollars/month a CRT costs.  If you
pay your own electricity bill then an LCD can suddenly become a "2 year ROI"
investment.  Exact numbers of course depend on a couple different factors, but I
read an article about a Florida IT shop that did a comparison and found savings
of $8/month in electricity in addition to the increased happiness of their
end-users and presumed increased productivity from reduced eye-strain and...
