[CLUE-Tech] Best distro for Linux firewall duties

Hi Russell,

I'm using Mandrake's Multiple Network Firewall at home for this. I am running
it on an old Compaq Deskpro which has a Pentium 166mHz in it, with 128MB of
RAM and a 4GB hard drive. It was very easy to setup and I am running the
services on it you describe below (all of which have the benefit of being
setup from a nice web-based administration tool).

Also, FWIW, the only issue that I had with this setup was some sort of
conflict between Compaq's BOIS settings for powersave and APM in the linux
kernel. This was quickly solved by passing a parameter to turn APM off when
booting.

HTH,
Chris
