[CLUE-Tech] exim configuration for laptop - not a 'valid' host

Hello,

can anyone offer suggestions for using exim on a system which is not
really part of a domain, but where I do want to be able to route mail
for purposes of running mailman (or a similar list manager)

I am the only local user, and I pop mail from a remote server using
fetchmail I just want the system to use it's smarthost capability when I
send mail to the mailman lists.
