[CLUE-Tech] Laptop repair

I was looking for some good leads for a laptop repair gurus.

I have a used Dell Inspiron 8000.  The LCD keeps shifting with color
problems.  I can usually "fix" the problem by pushing or occassionally
issuing a thump, but I do not think this is a very good long term
solution.  (I realize it is probably a loose connector, but I really
do not have much skill with this sort of thing).

Any suggestions?
