umask=000 sets the permissions on all files to rwxrwxrwx when it gets 
mounted since the filesystem doesn't support these permission bits, the 
default is rwxr-xr-x or something like that.  They are all owned by root 
by default.


I may try setting the uid to see if it has an effect, but I don't see why 
it would
