I think cdrtools has DVD support now.  I tried using growisofs, but I 
didn't like it much.  Burning a DVD with mkisofs and cdrecord is pretty 
much the same as burning a CD, except you have to take into account 
filesystems which cannot handle really big files, so you use 
-split-output with mkisofs.  Actually I'm going to throw up a little 
cheatsheet on how to do this on my site soon.  I'll try to put it up 
tonight and then send a link.
