Oh, i use that word all the time in my computer classes.  It's a species
of small bird, i think from Eastern Europe.  It's known for flying
around hunters and offering free advice which usually tends to scare
away the hunters' quarry.

The term was in vogue among card players of the 1950s, meaning someone
who hangs around a game offering advice but not actually playing.
