If you can remember Collins' original query (actually a declarative
statement in praise of the VMware presentation) after this long
rambling thread, you're a better man than most <grin>.

I guess you could construe as a query my desire to find a way to get
my system up Windowsus Intactus without having an install CD which no
PC vendors provide any more.
