[clue-tech] Custom partition scheme?

There are three reasons to use LVM:

 - Resizing of logical volumes (partition equivalents)
 - Creation of snapshots (partition-image equivalent, with no down time)
 - Addition and removal of storage devices

All those things can be done with the server hot and loaded.

If none of those things matter to your installation, or you can easily schedule down-time for them, you might not want LVM.
