... IF and only IF you ALSO bought hot-swappable drive hardware, and
trust it won't crash the box, even when the OS is in trouble after some
strange thing the previous drive did as it keeled over dead.
... or you have a bunch of empty disks installed and spinning all the

At today's disc prices, LVM is a problem looking for a solution...
unless the budget is way below where it should be for a business server.
And it's a solution that adds risk, however small, but it's cumulative,
right? Nothing is bug-free, including LVM.
(For home stuff, sure... use LVM... why not? Backups are higher
priority than LVM, that's for sure...)
