Is it possible that things just plain got conflated? CLUE was just a
bunch of people who loved to use Linux sharing information and
thoughts via an email list. There was a monthly meeting for local
members to get together and share their knowledge.

Somewhere along the way, the scope was expanded to include officers
and formal rules and parliamentary procedures and the such. CLUE was
forcibly dragged from being an informal bunch to a formal group. There
was no way that anything but drama could result.

And now it appears that people are taking things far too seriously.
Everything is out of perspective. The molehill of a fun little group
has been turned into a mountain of internal politics.

This place was a lot more fun when there was no real structure. Can't
we aim to get it back to that point?
