Drupal 7

We run Drupal7 and Mailman. 512MB is definitely too little 0 leads to
lockups. We have no direct evidence about how much more is required.

Here's the rub. Can your site provide both Drupal7/MySQL AND mailman?
We've not seen any VPS setups that will.
