Please allow me to add a thought or two,

I just joined the CLUE mailing list as I plan on attenting an upcoming
event. While there is the usual "please remove me" message that happens on
spikes in mailing list activity I am actually surprised to se the childish
banter. Mr. Miller, I cant wait to meet you!

If I am not mistaken the author of your reply indicated the folowing:

*I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, so let me put this forward.*
*
*
This delimited his opinion to his own actions and feelings, no?

So is it right of Mr. Miller to feel as though his rights to free speech are
impeded upon by reading this reply? Not in m opinion.

Now in Torrins defense we all came from different backgrounds. I do not know
what it was like for him growing up in the conditions that he did. Nor do I
know what it is like to take residence in another country. I respect that
more than I can tell you. However his statements did not make him appear to
be a bully. He was attempting, and correct me Torrin if I am wrong, state
that bashing windows is ones own decision.

Manners, as he mentioned, are almost like tact Mr Miller. If I walked up to
a group of individuals who were spewing negativity I would likely turn the
other direction and find a different group to associate with. Some people
take offense to others bashing "their" tools. Tools that they know how to
use, need to use, or otherwise. Am I being tactful if I openly bash windows?
You decide.

In the week that I have listened in on this list I have seen a few replies
however I need to ask you something Mr. Miller. Why are you here? You throw
out some big words for a community mail list. Oh and you implied that Torrin
was a bully and comunist by the tone and the words that you used.

and I quote:

"That seems to be what you are trying to do by attacking me with guilt and
fear, if I'm not mistaken. Or are you trying to persuade me of your opinion
intellectually?"

You did not over look anything? No, you are inciting conflict. Again why are
you here?

Personally I am looking forward to taking part in an installfest as well as
the hosting.com meeings. I operate http://webdt.org leading a linux port
effort and am quite active on the linux side of the xbmc forums. I apologize
that my first involvement in this list was in this fashion. I just couldn't
leave this be.

Thanks
